The PJHA Ice Storm program is dedicated to providing girls a competitive, supportive, and skill-focused hockey experience. Whether athletes are new to the game or building toward advanced play, Ice Storm focuses on growing confidence, teamwork, and a love for hockey in an all-girls environment.

Our teams emphasize strong skating, puck control, team play, and game awareness—while fostering leadership, respect, and fun on and off the ice.

Age Levels:

• Beginner & development options available depending on enrollment
• 10U/12U & 14U Girls (full-season teams)

Coach Gasper Sekelj leads the PJHA Girls “Ice Storm” program with a commitment to skill development, structured team play, and character-building—reflecting the core values outlined in the PJHA Handbook. Gasper is dedicated to creating a team environment where female athletes can thrive competitively while learning respect, accountability, and sportsmanship.



With years of coaching experience and a deep belief in the long-term development model, Coach Sekelj fosters a positive culture that aligns with PJHA’s mission: to provide a safe, inclusive, and challenging hockey experience where every player can grow on and off the ice.

He emphasizes:

• Age-appropriate skill progression
• Communication and leadership development
• Strong adherence to PJHA’s Codes of Conduct for players, parents, and coaches

About Our League

Founded in 2010, the Youth Sports League (YSL) is dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and competitive environment for young athletes to develop their skills and love for the game.

We believe that sports are more than just a game—they teach valuable life lessons about teamwork, discipline, resilience, and leadership. Our league is run by a dedicated group of volunteers and professional coaches who are committed to the growth of every player.

With over 2,000 active players across 150 teams, YSL is the largest youth sports organization in the county. We offer programs for all skill levels, from recreational beginner leagues to competitive travel teams.
