PJHA BOARD AND VOLUNTEERS

The Potsdam Junior Hockey Association Board is made up of parent volunteers. We meet the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month at 6pm in the Board Room at Pine Street Arena. All meetings are open to the public.

“Our mission is to provide our youth with the best possible opportunity to have fun while playing the sport of ice hockey.”

We will do this by:

  • Positive Atmosphere

    Providing a positive atmosphere for our youth to learn and grow through activities associated with skating and playing hockey.

  • Opportunity

    Offering opportunities to improve skills and general education of the game for players, coaches, and parents through effective practices and competitive games.

    Facilitating an experience that fosters teamwork, sportsmanship, work ethic, accountability and perseverance.

  • Hockey Culture

    Cultivating a hockey culture by engaging the community, members of the association and Potsdam Central School.

About Our League

Founded in 2010, the Youth Sports League (YSL) is dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and competitive environment for young athletes to develop their skills and love for the game.


We believe that sports are more than just a game—they teach valuable life lessons about teamwork, discipline, resilience, and leadership. Our league is run by a dedicated group of volunteers and professional coaches who are committed to the growth of every player.


With over 2,000 active players across 150 teams, YSL is the largest youth sports organization in the county. We offer programs for all skill levels, from recreational beginner leagues to competitive travel teams.
